Getting started

Download the demo version of the plugin, install it on your Mac and open your DAW to start using it. Demo versions are designed to let you explore the sound, check compatibility and decide whether the plugin fits your workflow before buying.

1. Download

Download the latest installer from the relevant product page.

2. Install

Run the installer, then restart your DAW so the plugin can be scanned.

3. Test the demo

Open the plugin on an instrument or audio track and check that it runs correctly.

4. Unlock

Enter your licence key to unlock the full version after purchase.

Installation

Scavenger Audio plugins are currently designed for macOS and Logic Pro/AU workflows. After installation, open your DAW and allow it to rescan plugins if prompted.

  • Close your DAW before running the installer
  • Run the downloaded installer package
  • Reopen your DAW and allow plugin validation to complete
  • Create a software instrument or audio effect track, then load the plugin

Demo mode

Demo mode gives you access to the plugin before purchase, but may include restrictions such as time limits, audio interruptions, disabled saving or other limitations.

The demo is there so you can check whether the plugin works properly with your system before buying.

Licensing and activation

After purchase, you will receive a licence key or serial. Enter it in the plugin to unlock the full version.

  • Keep your licence key somewhere safe
  • Use the same email address you purchased with when requesting support
  • Do not share or publish your licence key
  • Contact support if your licence key is lost or not working

Troubleshooting

If the plugin does not appear in your DAW, restart the DAW, rescan plugins and confirm your system matches the plugin requirements.

  • Check you installed the latest version
  • Check whether your DAW has blocked or failed plugin validation
  • Restart your Mac after installation if the plugin still does not appear
  • Send screenshots, error messages and system details when contacting support
