Agreement

Welcome to Scavenger Audio. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website, products, software, downloads and related services.

By using this website, downloading our software or purchasing a Scavenger Audio product, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Scavenger Audio

Scavenger Audio creates software instruments, audio effects and related digital products for music production.

Scavenger Audio is a registered Australian business name. ABN: 85 991 083 645.

Our products may include demo versions, paid versions, licence keys, updates, documentation, presets and related downloadable files.

2. Purchases and payment

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for our orders. Paddle provides customer service enquiries and handles payment-related returns.

When you purchase a product, you are buying a licence to use the software, not ownership of the software itself.

Prices may change at any time. Any price change will not affect purchases already completed.

3. Licence keys and activation

Some Scavenger Audio products require a valid licence key or serial number to unlock the full version.

You are responsible for keeping your licence key secure. Do not share, publish, sell, distribute or transfer your licence key without our written permission.

We may disable or revoke licence keys if we reasonably believe they have been shared, resold, misused, generated fraudulently or used in breach of these Terms.

4. Demo versions

We may provide free demo versions of our products. Demo versions may include limitations such as time limits, audio interruptions, restricted saving, export limitations or other restrictions.

Demo versions are provided so you can test compatibility and suitability before purchasing.

5. Software licence

When you purchase a Scavenger Audio product, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the software for your own music production, sound design and creative work.

You may use the sounds, recordings and music you create with our products in commercial and non-commercial projects.

You may not:

  • copy, resell, rent, lease, sublicense or redistribute the software
  • reverse engineer, decompile, modify or attempt to extract the source code
  • share your licence key with others
  • bypass, remove or tamper with copy protection, demo restrictions or licence checks
  • use the software in a way that breaks applicable laws

6. Compatibility

We aim to provide accurate compatibility information, but we cannot guarantee that our software will work with every computer, operating system, DAW, plugin format, hardware configuration or third-party tool.

Before purchasing, you should check the product page and test the demo version where available.

7. Updates

We may provide updates, bug fixes or improvements from time to time. Updates may change, add or remove features.

We are not required to provide updates indefinitely, but we aim to support our products responsibly.

8. Support

We aim to provide reasonable support for installation, licensing and product issues.

You can contact us at support@scavengeraudio.com.

Please include your product name, operating system, DAW, plugin format and a clear description of the issue.

9. Intellectual property

All Scavenger Audio software, branding, graphics, product names, sounds, documentation, website content and related materials are owned by Scavenger Audio or licensed to us.

You may not use our branding, logos, product names or website content without permission, except where allowed by law.

10. Refunds

Refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy, Paddle’s applicable buyer and refund processes and your rights under consumer law.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scavenger Audio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost data, lost projects, business interruption or damage caused by incompatible systems, third-party software or user error.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this website.

By continuing to use the website or products after changes are published, you accept the updated Terms.

13. Contact
